Right of withdrawal
For consumers. Who your contract partner is decides where the right is exercised — here is how it works for each way of buying.
Bought through the Adobe Creative Cloud Marketplace? Then your contract is with the marketplace’s merchant of record and its withdrawal and refund policy applies. Please address requests there — we cannot process a refund for a purchase we did not receive.
1. Purchases in our store
In our store the seller is FastSpring, acting as an authorised reseller and merchant of record. If you buy as a consumer, you have the statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within fourteen days without giving reasons — and this right exists against FastSpring, because the purchase contract is concluded with FastSpring.
Exercising it is deliberately easy, and there are several equally valid routes:
- the electronic withdrawal function on the checkout and in the customer portal — the interface through which the contract was concluded provides it, as required by law since 19 June 2026;
- a message to FastSpring’s buyer support, or simply a reply to the receipt e-mail;
- a message to us — we forward it to FastSpring immediately and confirm this to you, so the deadline is not lost between two companies.
FastSpring reimburses using the same means of payment you used, in accordance with its terms of sale and the statutory rules.
2. Early expiry for digital content
The licence key is digital content that is delivered immediately. The law therefore allows the right of withdrawal to expire early — but only if you expressly agree during checkout that delivery should begin at once, and confirm that you know this ends the right of withdrawal. Without that consent, the right remains.
In plain words: the right of withdrawal is only lost if the checkout expressly asked for that consent and you gave it. If you are not sure whether it did, section 4 applies.
3. Purchases on invoice
The perpetual licence on invoice is offered exclusively to businesses (§ 14 BGB) and public bodies, not to consumers. There is therefore no statutory right of withdrawal in this channel. Whether and how an order can be revoked before delivery is a matter of the quotation and ordinary contract law — in practice: write to us, we are not interested in invoicing licences nobody wants.
4. If you are not sure
If you do not know which channel you bought through, look at the invoice: it names the seller. And if in doubt, simply write to tagallypro@axeptdesign.com — we will route your request to the right place and confirm it, whichever company it concerns.
